My remedy for sensitive Sneezing, Runny & Stuffy Nose (Part 2)

In the past post - My remedy for sensitive Sneezing, Runny & Stuffy Nose (Part 1), I have highlighted that, according to Traditional Chinese Medicine's view, most of the sensitive nasal problems (sneezing, runny, stuffy) are caused by "weak lung" and the "intrusion of chill" into human body. To reduce the sensitive nasal problem, we need to reduce the chill from "intruding" our body. Previously, I highlighted that always wear a long pant when we are staying in the air-conditioning environment because the meridian on the our legs are one of the main entry point for the chill. Besides that, there are few more important things that we need to concern in order to reduce the chill "intrude into our body" like :

  • After washing your hair, always make the hair dry as soon as possible.
  • Never get your body exposed to the rain.
  • Never have a cold drinks or foods. (This not only applicable to sensitive nose, it also bring a huge impact to your body in the life.)
If you wet your hair for quite a long time and do not dry it up, the chill will "intrude" into your body through the meridian on your head. If you have a cold drinks or foods, the chill will directly enter into your body through the stomach meridian. When the chill successful "intrude" into your body and your body doesn't have enough blood and Qi (I will create another post on explaining the function of blood and Qi in Traditional Chinese Medicine's view) to fend off the chill from your body, the chill will finally enter and remain deeply in your organ - Lung. It is very hard to fend off the remained chill in the lung without enough blood and Qi in the body. What is the impact ? Eventually, the sensitive nasal problems will follow you through the whole life.

I know some of the peoples will feel lucky as they do not encounter sensitive nasal problems even though they take the cold foods or drinks as usual, never dry the wet hair and some even take off their clothes to enjoy their sleep in the air-conditioning environment.........Bear in the mind, even though you do not have the sensitive nasal problem, it doesn't mean that your body is strong enough from protecting "the intrusion of chill". On the contrary, "the chill that intruded" into your body will bring other impact or problem to your body. If you able to reduce and fend off the chill from your body, you will not only reduce the probability of sensitive nose problems but you will also reduce the probability in generating extra & unused body fat in order to make yourself look youthful. I know it is not easy to adopt these good living habits, however, you will see the miracle if you do so ;)
